Quick Summary

Mountain Jew is a volunteer-run community. All participation is voluntary and at your own risk. We don't supervise activities or guarantee safety. You're responsible for your own decisions, boundaries, and evaluating risks. We may share information with trusted organizers to support community safety.

The Details

1. Participation Is Voluntary

You have complete autonomy over your participation in Mountain Jew activities. Whether it's WhatsApp groups, events, hikes, carpools, or home gatherings—you decide when to engage and when to step back. No explanation needed.

2. Not Supervised or Guaranteed Safe

Mountain Jew is a volunteer-run community, not a company, security organization, or professional guide service. We do not supervise activities, verify backgrounds, vet participants, or guarantee safety in any setting. All gatherings are informal and operate on mutual trust.

3. Personal Responsibility

  • You are responsible for your own decisions, safety, and personal boundaries
  • You are responsible for evaluating the risks of any activity before participating
  • If something feels unsafe, unclear, or uncomfortable, trust your instincts and remove yourself or speak up
  • Communicate your needs, limitations, and boundaries clearly with others

4. Outdoor, Travel & Social Risk

Events may occur in public spaces, hiking trails, private homes, or other informal environments. Weather, terrain, and social dynamics can be unpredictable. No one is obligated to supervise, guide, rescue, or provide medical assistance. Come prepared and know your limits.

5. Information & Privacy

We may collect and store basic contact information, participation details, and notes relevant to community wellbeing. This information may be shared with trusted organizers and admins solely to support safety, trust-building, and preventing harm. We cannot guarantee complete privacy or confidentiality, as community safety sometimes requires information sharing.

6. No Liability

Mountain Jew Community and its organizers, admins, volunteers, hosts, and participants assume no responsibility and accept no liability for any injury, loss, harm, conflict, inconvenience, or damages of any kind—whether physical, emotional, financial, or otherwise. You participate entirely at your own risk.

7. Conflict & Removal

Conflicts may arise in any community space. Organizers reserve the right to remove or restrict participation to maintain community wellbeing and safety. These decisions are made to protect the community and are not personal judgments of character.

8. Updates to This Notice

This notice may be updated periodically as the community evolves. Continued participation indicates your ongoing agreement with these terms.
